The practical course “Trace Analysis II” will take place in the period from 17.02.2025 to 28.02.2025 in the laboratory of AK Hoffmann and AK Bings. The registration phase for the practical course is only open from 17.12.2024 at 1 pm until 16.02.25 at 9 pm. Registration in Jogustine for the practical course is mandatory for participation.
Prerequisite for the practical course is the passing of the module “Trace Analysis I” as well as the participation in the safety instruction.
The safety instructions will take place together with the inspection of the exam on 13.02.2025, in room 01 132 - SR 132, from 15:00 to 18:00. Alternatively, the inspection can be carried out on 14.02.2025, between 13:00 and 15:00 in room 01 132 - SR 132.

The experiments concerning ICP-OES and TXRF are usually scheduled to start at 9:00 am. For groups 1 and 5, the TXRF experiment is scheduled to take place at 1:00 pm. The experiments concerning HPLC-HR-MS and TD-GC-HR-MS are scheduled to start at 10:00 am.
The protocols for the individual experiments are to be written and submitted in pairs of two students each.

Supporting seminar to the practical course „Trace Analysis II“
Each participant in the supporting seminar will hold a lecture on a current research topic (15 min presentation, followed by a discussion of up to 15 minutes). The specific topics will be announced below, along with the respective supervisors. The language of the presentations is English. Prior to delivering their presentations, participants are expected to consult with their respective supervisors.
The supporting seminar for the practical course, "Trace Analysis II," is expected to take place on February 18, 20, 24, 26 and 27 from 15:00 to 17:00 in room 01 132 - SR 132.
